Installing VMWare in Ubuntu Hardy Heron (8.04)

Just a reminder for myself, seeing as this has taken me half a day to find out how to get working. Using the instructions found on this page you can install VMWare on the latest version on Ubuntu and get rid of the compile errors.
*edit* – theres also some steps located here that need to be taken as well to get vmware to run after it is installed.
